Mustang 5.0 Technical Reference & Performance Handbook, 1979 through 1993, by Al Kirschenbaum
If there's anything you've ever wanted to know about the Fox-body Mustang, it is in Al Kirschenbaum's new book. Kirschenbaum is a veteran car magazine and book writer who has been around since the days when NHRA Pro Stock cars ran 10s. Don Garlits even calls Al "old man". Anyway, Kirschenbaum is quite possibly the most thorough automotive journalist of all time, especially when it comes to getting all the details for a book. One look through his Mustang 5.0 handbook, and you'll see what we mean. Everything from detailed descriptions of available factory models, packages, and original equipment, to service campaigns and technical service bulletins, to the smallest of mechanical details is in this book. Al also touches on popular performance upgrades and aftermarket parts availability. If you can't find the book in your local bookstore, you can order it online from Bentley Publishers' website, www.bentleypublishers.com. The book is code GFM5, the ISBN is 0-8376-0810-6, and the retail price is $34.95.
