eBahn® - Frequently Asked Questions

Adobe Acrobat settings

The eBahn® Reader uses Adobe Acrobat Reader to display certain information, such as wiring diagrams. Installation of the eBahn® Reader includes the free Acrobat Reader. Some users may have previously installed and customized a version of Acrobat or Acrobat Reader, which may cause the eBahn® Reader to not display certain information.

To fix this, open the Acrobat Reader application. Under the Help menu, select "About Acrobat Reader" to determine which release of Acrobat you are using (4.0 and higher). Follow the below instructions for your version of Acrobat Reader.

Acrobat Reader version 4.0

Under the File menu, select Preferences, then highlight Options to open the General Preferences dialog box. In the Options box, select "Web Browser Integration". An example of the settings is shown below.

Once you have checked off 'Web Browser Integration', please click 'OK'. Then close Adobe Acrobat and the eBahn reader. Restart the eBahn reader and try to access any items in your repair manual that use Adobe Acrobat, like Technical Bulletins and Wiring Diagrams.
