What is the Shopping Cart?

The shopping cart on BentleyPublishers.com is where we process your orders. As you browse the bookstore website, you can add books to the shopping cart by clicking the "Add to Cart" icon on each page.

How do I add items to the shopping cart?

On most BentleyPublishers.com product pages, there is an Add to Shopping Cart button that looks like this: . When this button appears, clicking it will add the item to your Shopping Cart. As you browse through the website, you can add items to your Shopping Cart by clicking the button on each page. If you'd like to see what's in your shopping cart, you can click the View Cart button at the top of each BentleyPublishers.com page.

How do I remove items from the shopping cart?

On the shopping cart order form, you can see a button. Click on this button and the item(s) will be removed.

I'm done with my order. What do I do next?

  1. Review your order and quantities. If correct, proceed to Step 5.
  2. For additional quantities, click on the box containing the quantity, change it and click "update".
  3. To remove an item from your shopping cart, click on "remove" for that item.
  4. Review your order and quantities.
  5. Click on "Proceed to Checkout" and we will take you step by step through the checkout process.
    (If you change Quantity, click "update" to see your new total)
    (NOTE: Your browser must have cookies enabled to use this shopping cart.)

How do I enable cookies?

Finding the browser version:
For IE select HELP | ABOUT INTERNET EXPLORER from the menu. For Netscape select HELP | ABOUT NETSCAPE from the menu.

Enabling Cookies:
In order to use this website, you must have cookies enabled on your browser. To enable cookies on your browser, follow the steps as shown below for the browser you use:

Microsoft Internet Explorer (version 6.0 or higher)
  • Select the Tools menu
  • Select Internet Options
  • Select the Privacy tab
  • Click Default or Move slider bar down a notch or 2 to Medium.
  • Click the OK button to accept the values of the settings dialogue
  • Click OK to save the Internet Options settings
  • Click the Refresh button on your browser

  • Select Internet Options
  • Select the Security tab
  • Select Internet
  • Click the Custom Level button
  • Select Cookies
  • Click the Enable button

  • Click the Refresh button on your browser

  • Select the Edit menu
  • Select Preferences
  • Expand Receiving Files

  • Select an option other than Never Accept
  • Available options are: Never Ask, Ask for each site, Ask for each cookie
  • Click Okay

    How do I enter my shipping address?

    If this is your first time ordering through BentleyPublishers.com, you will need to enter your shipping address on Step 1 of the ordering process. This address will become part of your Member Center profile. You can edit this address in either the Member Center or on the next step of the ordering process.

    How do I select my shipping method?

    Step 2 of the ordering process will detail the shipping instructions for your order.
    1. Review your shipping address. Click - edit - to make changes.
    2. Select your shipping method including any additional shipping charges.
    3. Enter in a gift message, if you would like to include one.
    4. Click on "Continue" to proceed.

    I'm buying this as a gift. Can I include a note for the recipient with the order?
    On this screen you can write a gift message. This is a short note you can write that will appear on the packing slip. It should be no more than 60 characters long. Please do not include any shipping instructions, intended for us, in the gift message.

    I'm done entering my shipping information. What do I do next?
    1. Review your billing & shipping address, shipping method and payment method. Read more about the methods of payment we accept here.
      (Click on "edit" to make any changes).
    2. Review your order and final total payment.
    3. Click on "edit or delete quantities" to return to the shopping cart and update items or quantities.
    4. Click on "Confirm" to place your order with us.

    How do I pay for my order?

    On Step 3 of the ordering process you will enter your credit card information.

    1. Review your billing address. Click to make changes.
    2. Enter in your payment information. (It is only required for this order)
    3. Click on "Continue" to review your order.
