How do I move my installation to a new computer? I have a new computer, can I move my eBahn program from the old computer to the new one?
  1. Open the 'eBahn' icon to start the program (on the PC where it is installed now)
  2.  

  3. Click License Manager in the upper left corner and select Deactivate content
  4. Select Deactivate Content from the License Manager menu in the upper-left corner of the eBahn(r) Reader application.

  5. Click the Deactivate button
  6. Click the Deactivate button associated with the vehicle platform you wish to deactivate.

  7. Select 'yes' or 'no' for Internet connection and follow the on-screen instructions
  8. If you are connected to the internet, it is recommended you click Yes for the quickest service.  Otherwise, click No.

  9. You will receive a Confirmation of Deactivation.
  10. Click Yes to confirm that you really do want to deactivate your license for this vehicle platform.

  11. You will receive a deactivation key. DO NOT LOSE this deactivation key or you will be unable to deactivate the serial number.
  12. Your deactivation receipt gives you all the information you need to know if the deactivation worked properly, or if there is something more you need to do.

Deactivating the serial number through the Member Center

  1. Go to www.bentleypublishers.com and click 'Member Center' at the top.
  2.  

  3. Log in with your e-mail address and password.
  4.  

  5. Click the 'Products' tab
  6.  

  7. Scroll down until your serial numbers are displayed.
  8.  

  9. Verify if your serial number has been deactivated. Deactivated/inactive serial numbers will have a plus sign and say "Offline Activation" next to it, and "Inactive" underneath the serial number.
  10.  

  11. If the serial number has not been deactivated, it will have a minus sign and say "Offline Deactivation", and "Active" underneath the serial number Click the "Offline Deactivation" button.

  13. Enter your deactivation key and click Deactivate.
  14.  

The serial number will now be deactivated and available for reactivation. You are allotted five transfers (deactivation and reactivation) per serial number per calendar year.
